1965 To 1970 I was Operations Manager of 5 shopping centers, 2 office buildings and 5 residential condominium buildings.

1970 To 1972 I began leasing office space and warehouse properties.

In 1972 I qualified for my Brokers License and formed Slavish & Associates, Inc. where I continued commercial leasing and sales.

Between 1980 and 1987, I co-ventured the acquisition, renovation, leasing and management of 5 small semi-historic commercial properties in downtown Honolulu. When the projects were completed and stabilized, they were sold and the co-venture was terminated.

Between 1990 and 2003, I formed another co-venture to create limited partnerships to acquire and manage apartment projects in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. We did 5 such projects, holding them from 3 to 5 years. The projects were sold as planned. The venture ended in 2003

2003 and 2004, I served an appointment by the Governor as a Board Member of the State of Hawaii Paroling Authority. I resigned the appointment after serving 18 months.

In 2006, I formed Slavish Realty, following an unfulfilling year of semi-retirement.

Currently I am an independent broker selling investment properties.
